This year\u2019s theme was the <strong>&#8220;<\/strong>Digital Transformation and the Future of Maintenance Management&#8221; and there were numerous participations of domain experts, engineers, scientists, and representatives of industry, while interesting speeches, highlighted the latest technologies and developments in the field of mechanical operation and maintenance from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cosmas Vamvalis<\/strong>, ATLANTIS Engineering CEO and Chairman of the European Federation of National Maintenance Societies (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.efnms.eu\/\">EFNMS<\/a>), participated in the opening ceremony of the\u00a0OMAINTEC\u00a0&#8211; (<a href=\"http:\/\/omaintec.com\/\">omaintec.com<\/a>), along with the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs &amp; Housing of Saudi Arabia, which took place in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/atlantis-engineering.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/\u0395\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc\u03bd\u03b12.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3969 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/atlantis-engineering.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/\u0395\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc\u03bd\u03b12-1024x594.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"703\" height=\"408\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>The presentation of <\/strong><strong>ATLANTIS <\/strong><strong>Engineering<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>George Efremidis<\/strong>, General Manager of ATLANTIS Engineering and President of\u00a0 Hellenic Maintenance Society (<a href=\"http:\/\/hms-gr.eu\/\">http:\/\/hms-gr.eu\/<\/a>), along with <strong>Athanasios Naskos<\/strong>, Chief Innovation Officer of ATLANTIS Engineering presented at the\u00a0OMAINTEC\u00a0Conference new Maintenance Management methods based on data analysis, as well as techniques for estimating the remaining useful life of the machines.<\/p>\n<p>During their speech, an over-sampling technique inspired by the field of animation was presented. The over-sampling technique was adapted appropriately to the field of Industry 4.0, as well as a pattern detection technique for the automatic export of product production cycles from the continuous signal of the sensors. The combination of these techniques was used in the preparatory actions of estimating the remaining useful \u201clife\u201d of the machines, supplying data to a neural network.
