Maintenance management in Facility Management company in Bahrain

The effort for international presence of ATLANTIS Engineering brings new results, with the new project in Elite Facility Management, the first project of the company in the Bahrain region. Buildings whose maintenance was implemented by Elite FM include the Bahrain flagship, the Abraj al Lulu Tower or Pearl Towers shown below.

ATLANTIS Engineering

ATLANTIS Engineering provides management and software solutions for technical and maintenance departments.  Specifically ATLANTIS Engineering has developed the CMMS called AIMMS, a software that organises all activities in maintenance departments, and this includes maintenance departments in Hotels, Factories, Faciity management companies etc.   AIMMS software is used in every sector that there is the need to maintain equipment or buildings. The projects that ATLANTIS Engineering has done, are many including successful case studies in facility management projects as well like The Mall Athens, Deree College and the Sani Resort hotel group. The new project in Bahrain is also in Facility Management company.

Technopolis AI Cluster

ATLANTIS Engineering launched its operations in the Middle East in June 2019, with impressive results in the first half of the year, as part of the Technopolis AI Cluster of 5 Greek companies to open an office in Dubai

The implementation of the maintenance management project

The project was implemented by the Key Account area manager of ATLANTIS Engineering in the Middle East, Mr. Jojy Thomas, and the ongoing support of the ATLANTIS Engineering project team from Greece. Flawless collaboration was the key to success in this highly demanding project. The highlight of this effort, from the first month of the project, was the award of the company by the General Manager of Elite Facility Management, for its “excellent support”.

“We signed for the AIMMS Web & Mobile system last February. We wanted to achieve complete operational excellence in reference to the daily maintenance requests received from each of the buildings that we manage. Earlier all maintenance activities received were recorded manually on a complaint register book. We used to handle the sudden breakdown requests of the assets/machinery as and when we receive the requests.

Now with the AIMMS system, a CMMS software, we are able to manage all tasks properly and all details are recorded on to the AIMMS system which is installed on the Cloud. We are able to plan well in advance for the preventive maintenance of all the major important assets in each of the buildings and this is helping us to avoid sudden breakdown. The client also has access to the system and is able to see the details of each of the requests logged on to the system on a daily basis.

Mr. Jojy Thomas came to Bahrain to train us and to plan the project phases for the AIMMS implementation. We are very happy with the support that we have received so far, and also the cooperation that we are receiving from the Greece Team. Looking forward to future support in reference to further simplifying the daily operational tasks, like automating the billing system for each of the consumers/tenants every month end. I am more than happy to recommend them and wish them all the success of their future projects.”   Kiran Kumar – Operation Manager

Continuing the organized effort

The Bahrain project is another link in the chain of international presence of ATLANTIS Engineering, which now counts projects in 6 countries in Europe and the Middle East. Especially in the Middle East the whole effort is also supported by the cooperation with the Pan-Arab Maintenance Association (OMAINTEC). In both 2018 and 2019, the company actively participated in its workshops and speeches in Egypt and the UAE.
