News of ATLANTIS Engineering

The CEO of Atlantis Engineering was elected Chairman of the EFNMS for the third time!

Cosmas Vamvalis, CEO of Atlantis Engineering was elected Chairman of the European Federation of National Maintenance Societies (EFNMS, www.efnms.org) for the third consecutive year.

The re-election is particularly honorable both for ATLANTIS Engineering and our country, as it certifies that Greece is at the center of developments in Maintenance at the European level and plays a significant role in the Industry 4.0 era.

EFNMS, founded in 1970 in Amsterdam, is an organization with a long history in the European Maintenance Community. EFNMS’ mission is the dissemination of knowledge between states, the support of initiatives to inform and educate members, the organisation of international conferences, meetings, and workshops, as well as the networking, and the promotion of maintenance in official international organizations and institutes. Among them an indicative example of its activities, is the EuroMaintenance conference.

It is worth mentioning that for the first time in the history of the EFNMS organization, a representative from Greece is elected as Chairman. The election of a Greek Chairman undoubtedly strengthens the vision and the role of the respective non-profit company Hellenic Maintenance Society HMS (hms-gr.eu), while at the same time it mirrors the inspired initiatives and the fruitful activities of Atlantis Engineering for the recognition of Maintenance Society of Greece at the pan-European level.

Along these, Greece is now in the foreground in the international “map” of Maintenance, along with the innovative ideas and actions of Greek companies. As a result, it is being created the conditions for the introduction of the Maintenance Society of Greece in the era of Industry & Maintenance 4.0.
